Shipping & returns policy
Find detailed information on our shipping procedures, delivery timelines, and important customs guidance. We aim to provide transparency so you can plan your orders with confidence.

Estimated delivery times
We understand the importance of timely delivery for your manufacturing needs. Our total estimated door-to-door timelines for Full Container Load (FCL) shipments include factory loading, export customs clearance, ocean transit, destination port handling, and final truck dispatch.
Typical timelines:
- To the UAE: 10 to 25 days total
- To Europe: 35 to 50 days total
- To the USA: 35 to 55 days total

Shipping cost calculation
Our shipping costs are determined by the freight mode and destination. We offer both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) options.
Full container load (FCL):
Priced as a flat rate per container (20ft or 40ft). For dense chemicals like SLES 70% paste, a 20ft container is universally used as it reaches its maximum legal weight capacity (roughly 20–22 metric tons) before filling its physical volume.
Less than container load (LCL):
Priced per CBM (Cubic Meter) or per Metric Ton, whichever is higher (known as the Revenue Ton).
Calculating the base ocean freight rate:
This is the baseline cost to move the container from the origin port (e.g., Shanghai or Mundra) to your destination port (e.g., Jebel Ali, Rotterdam, or New York).
Formula: Base Freight = Container Rate × Number of Containers.
Variable surcharges: To get the final ocean freight cost, we add standard maritime surcharges to the base rate:
- BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor): Covers fluctuating marine fuel costs.
- CAF (Currency Adjustment Factor): Offsets risks from exchange rate shifts.
Currently, we do not offer free shipping. For detailed quotes, please contact us at [[email]] or [[phonenumber]].

Return policy
Due to the nature of our products, primarily chemicals and raw materials for manufacturing personal care and healthcare products, we operate under a strict "No return once goods sold" policy. Please ensure your order details are accurate before final confirmation. For any concerns prior to purchase, please contact our support team.

International customs & duties
For international shipments, it's crucial for customers to be aware of destination-specific customs regulations, duties, and taxes. Global Enterprises ensures all necessary export documentation is provided from our side.
United Arab Emirates (UAE):
- HS code matching: Ensure your customs declaration uses the correct Harmonized System (HS) code for surfactants (typically under Chapter 34). Misclassification can lead to administrative penalties at Jebel Ali or Khalifa port.
- MOCCAE approvals: Chemical imports often require prior clearance or registration via the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) portal.
- Customs duty: The UAE generally applies a standard 5% customs duty on the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) value of imported chemicals, alongside a 5% Value Added Tax (VAT).
Europe (EU):
- REACH compliance: This is the single biggest hurdle for Europe. Any company importing chemicals into the EU in quantities over 1 metric ton per year must be compliant with REACH Regulations (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals). You must verify if the batch is pre-registered or if you are using an Only Representative (OR).
- EOR: An "Only Representative" (OR) is a legal entity or natural person established in the EU, appointed by a non-EU manufacturer to fulfill the obligations of EU importers under REACH. The OR must have sufficient expertise in the practical handling of chemicals and access to the necessary information about the substance.
Customers are responsible for understanding and fulfilling their local import requirements. We recommend consulting with local customs authorities or a customs broker for specific guidance related to your shipment.
